Dosas are savory crepes, found throughout South Asia, that date back more than a thousand years, if not much longer. Dosa is made from a fermented batter predominantly consisting of lentils and rice. Its main ingredients are rice and black gram, ground together in a fine, smooth batter with a dash of salt, then fermented.
When created perfectly it is absolutely scrumptious, crisp and has zero trans fat or cholesterol, a perfectly great meal to have after a workout – and any time of the day actually!
